php yesterday

November 8th, 2009 bye admin

First we must create a new PHP file: simplecarloancalculator.php yesterday. A PHP file is processed the Web server as a normal HTML file, except to write a code inside the PHP tag.

We start by creating a computer car loan in HTML to send data back to this site.

  Interest rate

code above will create a form with three text boxes and a button.

Price
Car: ___

Term: ___
rate
Interest: ___

[computer]

can be translated to:
  If
calculate button is pressed, the data in text boxes will be sent to the name of the page: simplecarloancalculator.php yesterday (page has everything ready to carry our browser). Simplecarloancalculator.php yesterday our current home will be recharged and have access to the form input in an array called $ _POST.

To be able to use the data entered in the price of the car the text box that we use $ _POST [carPrice], where carPrice is the name used in the form above. Since, in fact, are using the PHP code so that the form is created we put the above code form.

PHP coding

We will start with two functions and one variable.

isset () – function to check if the variable is set to [return true / false].

empty () – function to check if the variable is empty [returns true / false].

$ carPrice – variable to hold the price of cars

Looks as isset () and empty () are almost the same, but I will explain it easy, but very important difference.

Let we study a piece of code.

if (isset ($ _POST [carPrice])
